Shadbala of Planets :- There are six types of bal of the planets. They are Sthanbal, Digbal, Kalabal, Nasargikbal, Cheshtabal and Drigbal. Thus, there are 6 types of bal. If in the beginning, the balabal of the planets, there are methods of calculations therefore to make predictions, it is necessary to know about these bals. Sthanbal :- That planet which is in its own house, friends house, Mool Thrikonasth, Sva, Navamshstha and Dreshkonastha, it is known as Sthanbal. Moon and Venus in even sign and other planets in odd signs are powerful. Digbal :- Present in Mercury and Jupiter Ascendant, Venus and Moon in the fourth, Saturn in the seventh and Sun and Mars in the tenth position, constitutes digbal. Because Ascendant is in the east the tenth house in the south, the seventh house in the west and the fourth house direction. That is why, the place where these planets are positioned is known as Digbal. Then when the planet transit in that sign or house, that will be more favourable. Less than 5 bindus, it will, not be favourable. In this way, seven planets and Ascendants' make up all the Ashtakvarg. In Sarvashtakvarg, in this house, are more than 28 bindus. If there are more than 28 bindus, then the house is considered beneficial less than 28 is not considered favourable. In Sarvashtakvarg, there is trikon reduction and eracthipathy reduction. In these reductions, bindus are reduced by enemy planets, debilated and a bitter enemy. In this way, Ashtakvarg, is formed.
